- 3300 EP3326/90: a classic milk frother, which Philips says makes thick-frothed milk for cappuccinos or hot milk for hot chocolate.

- Evo ECAM290.61.SB: Currys lists an automatic frother with a 220ml milk carafe and dishwasher-safe parts including the milk container.
Who it isn’t for: anyone wanting café-style microfoam for latte art. Carafes froth for you; the simple steam wands here are for basic froth.

Who it isn’t for: iced coffee fans should skip the Evo. We didn’t find an iced setting on the Evo models we checked.
Grinder, controls and noise
Philips UK lists a 12-step ceramic grinder on both 3300 models, a touch display with coloured icons, and My Coffee Choice for strength, length and milk froth level. Currys lists 13 grind settings on the Evo ECAM290.61.SB; we couldn’t confirm a count for the steam wand Evos. De’Longhi lists a soft touch panel with colour icons on the ECAM290.21.B.
On noise, Philips UK says SilentBrew makes the 3300 40% quieter than earlier Philips models, with Quiet Mark certification. We didn’t find a comparable noise claim on De’Longhi’s Evo pages.
Currys lists wi-fi and the HomeID app on the 3300 EP3347/90, but Philips UK’s spec table says “Connectivity: No”. Check with the retailer if that matters.
Who it isn’t for: early risers in open-plan homes may prefer the 3300’s quieter brewing claim.
