This Melitta Latticia OT review covers the F300-100, the model Currys sells as the “Series 600 Latticia OT”. The OT stands for one touch, and it’s the main thing that separates it from Melitta’s cheaper Avanza: cappuccino and latte macchiato come out at a single press. We haven’t tested this in person. Our verdict is based on Melitta UK’s product page, Currys’ listing and UK prices checked 3 Oct 2026. Read how we compare.

Melitta Latticia OT review: the short answer

Buy the Melitta Latticia OT if you want one-touch milk drinks without spending £500. It was £399 for the black F300-100 at Currys, in stock, checked 3 Oct 2026.

Who it isn’t for: anyone who hates washing milk parts. Melitta UK lists no automatic steam cleaning for them.

Skip it if you mostly drink black coffee. The Melitta Purista was £299 at Currys for the silver F230-101 (checked 3 Oct 2026) and has no milk system to clean. Melitta Purista: Check price at Amazon for Melitta Purista (opens in a new tab)

Who it isn’t for: anyone who wants a touchscreen. The Latticia OT uses buttons with picture keys and an LED symbol display.

What it costs right now

  • Latticia OT F300-100 (black): £399 at Currys, in stock, checked 3 Oct 2026. Currys showed no Was price.
  • Latticia OT (silver or black): £549.99 at Melitta UK, in stock, checked 3 Oct 2026.

That’s a £150.99 gap (both checked 3 Oct 2026), so it’s worth buying from Currys unless you need the silver finish, which we only found at Melitta UK.

Who it isn’t for: anyone who’d pay Melitta UK’s price without checking Currys first.

The milk system

Melitta calls it the LATTEperfection system and says it froths milk twice, which it claims gives finer foam at the right temperature. That’s Melitta’s description, not something we’ve measured. What’s clear from the spec list is the convenience: Melitta UK lists espresso, café crème, cappuccino, latte macchiato, milk foam and hot water as one-touch drinks.

Melitta UK also says the Latticia OT follows an “Italian Preparation Process”, adding ingredients in a set order: for latte macchiato the espresso goes in after the milk and foam, and for cappuccino the other way round. The all-in-one outlet has separate nozzles for coffee, milk and hot water, adjusts up to 140mm for tall glasses, and can make two drinks at once with or without milk.

Melitta UK lists no automatic steam cleaning of the milk-bearing parts, so plan to rinse them yourself after milk drinks.

Who it isn’t for: anyone who wants a machine that cleans its milk circuit for you. De’Longhi’s Magnifica Evo lists dishwasher-safe milk parts instead, per Currys. De’Longhi Magnifica Evo: See it at De’Longhi for De’Longhi Magnifica Evo (opens in a new tab)

Specs from Melitta UK

  • Size and weight: 352mm high, 200mm wide and 459mm deep, and 9.3kg.
  • Water and beans: a removable 1.5-litre tank and a 250g bean container.
  • Grinder: a steel conical burr grinder that Melitta describes as quiet, with five grind settings.
  • Settings: three strengths, three brewing temperatures (85°C, 90°C and 95°C) and water quantity from 25ml to 220ml.
  • Power and extras: 1450W, a passive cup warmer, a 0-watt switch, an energy-saving mode and auto switch-off.

Currys lists the same tank and bean container, but gives the size as 365 x 250 x 530mm (H x W x D) and 9kg, and its spec table says “Milk frother: No” while listing cappuccino and latte macchiato. We’ve gone by Melitta’s figures, but measure your space before you order.

Who it isn’t for: anyone who needs exact measurements for a tight gap. Ask the retailer which figures are right.

Cleaning and upkeep

Melitta UK lists a removable brewing unit, an automatic cleaning and descaling system, and a service button that gives access to those programmes. It’s compatible with Melitta’s water filter, and Melitta’s free Companion App gives step-by-step cleaning and descaling guidance. For descaling help on a sibling model, our guide to descaling the Melitta Purista shows how Melitta’s service programmes work.

Who it isn’t for: anyone who expects zero maintenance. Every bean-to-cup needs regular cleaning.

Downsides

  • No automatic milk cleaning, per Melitta UK.
  • Mismatched specs between Melitta UK and Currys.
  • No saved coffee profile. Melitta UK lists “My Coffee Profile: No”.
  • Melitta UK’s price is much higher than Currys’ for the same model.

Alternatives to consider

Our guide to bean-to-cup machines under £500 has more one-touch options.

Who it isn’t for: anyone set on Melitta for its narrow body. The Magnifica Evo is a different shape, so check the measurements.
